Are you #@$%ing kidding?

Ok, that happened. Just when I thought the Bears were out of new fun and creative ways to lose, the went and took an overtime dump. Seriously, when can we run out of ways to do this crap every week. I am simply emotionally numb at this point.

In a game where the number one draft pick showed you why he was chosen against a very tough vikings team, the defense and special teams flipped the script and completely blew this game apart. Sure, Caleb took a sack and then had a delay of game in overtime (which should never happen when you have two time outs). But, maybe look to the kick returner getting hit by the ball (WTF), maybe look to the second blocked field goal in two games.

At some point the Bears are going to have to stop being the Bears. This defense was supposed to be top five in the league coming in to this season. Now they are middle of the pack AT BEST! The special teams unit ( which helped us win the first game of the year) now looks like the squad from Little Giants. And then of course there’s the HC. I don’t pin this one on Flus as much as the Commanders or Packers, but he still shares this.

On the plus side, Caleb Williams broke the bears rookie total yards record today. Sure it was embarrassingly low but he still broke it. He also tied the franchise record for TDs in a season, one more and you are looking at the best rookie QB the bears have ever had. Another interesting thing I noticed for all you “Caleb Is a bust” folks, Caleb is about 80 yards from being in the top 20 bears all time yards books AS A ROOKIE! I’m going to need you guys to sit down and STFU.

Next week the boys have the lions, a tall task considering I really think they will win the super bowl. Historically though, thanksgiving is a great day to play the lions, who are 37-44-2 on thanksgiving. Once again, all that matters this year is QB development and now he has to take a look at one of the best teams in the league, a team which has won by 38 points or more 3 times this season.

I believe that the 2024 bears are better than their record. At the bear minimum right now I truly believe they should be 7-4. That is however, not the case and here we stand. So lets do it, lets be the spoiler. Hell, maybe we can even ruin the cheese weenies play off chances. Lets watch Caleb break all the franchises pathetic QB records, and then lets #fireflus.
