I am a die hard Bears fan living a long way from the Windy City. I’ve been following the Bears for nearly twenty years.

I grew up in Montana, but my dad was from north of the city and is also a die hard Cubs fan. He even gave me the middle name “Banks”, and my mom likes to joke that he would have named me Ernie if he had his way. When I found football (dad wasn’t a fan) the bears seemed like the natural choice.

Since then, as we all know it has been a life of heartache. Terrible coaching, the quarterback merry-go-round, and of course never beating the Packers.

This year however I see the light. I think the they might actually turn the page (if they stay out of their own way). I think the pieces are taking shape and it’s time to restore the Franchise. I decided to start this blog to chronicle my thoughts and hopefully make some people laugh along the way.

So Bear Down, Bears Nation and stay the course.
